5. Payments and Fees

Fees for our services will be communicated in advance and agreed upon before any work commences. The client is required to make payments in full as per the invoice issued. Delays in payment may result in delays in service delivery or suspension of services until payment is made in full. In case of overdue payments, interest may be charged on the outstanding amount, as specified in the invoice.


6. Cargo Liability and Insurance

While Cargoburg takes every precaution to ensure the safety and proper handling of cargo, we are not responsible for loss or damage to goods unless it is due to our direct negligence or failure to perform our duties. Cargo insurance is not included in the standard service package. However, clients have the option to arrange for insurance coverage at an additional cost. Clients are encouraged to arrange for insurance, particularly for high-value or sensitive cargo.


7. Customs Clearance Terms

Cargoburg Logistics acts as a customs agent on behalf of the client, facilitating the clearance of goods through customs within Nigeria. However, the client remains responsible for any applicable duties, taxes, or penalties imposed by Nigerian customs authorities. Clients should be aware of the specific customs regulations in Nigeria and ensure that all import/export restrictions are followed. Failure to comply may result in delays, additional charges, or seizure of goods.
